On Tues\u00adday three of my class\u00admates and I went on a day trip to Turku. We met up at the Loimaa Train\u00adsta\u00adtion at around 10 am and took the next train for half an hour. We already planned what we want\u00aded to do the day before and we hoped that we could man\u00adage every\u00adthing in time, as we only had five hours. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

First we want\u00aded to go to an art muse\u00adum, which was 30 min\u00adutes away from the train sta\u00adtion. On the way there we came across some beau\u00adti\u00adful build\u00adings and streets. Once we arrived at the art muse\u00adum, we did\u00adn\u2019t find the entrance at first, so we walked around the build\u00ading until we found it. Inside were mul\u00adti\u00adple art\u00adworks, all with the over\u00adall top\u00adic of \u2018war\u2019. There were three rooms with mul\u00adti\u00adple art\u00adworks on dis\u00adplay to look at and every\u00adthing was also made out of recy\u00adcled mate\u00adri\u00adals. We spent almost an hour in there, tak\u00ading pho\u00adtos and look\u00ading at every\u00adthing with fas\u00adci\u00adna\u00adtion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After\u00adwards we want\u00aded to go to a sci\u00adence muse\u00adum which was 40 min\u00adutes away from the art muse\u00adum. We acci\u00adden\u00adtal\u00adly took a few wrong turns because we did\u00adn\u2019t have the right address, but due to that we saw \u2018Posank\u00adka\u2019 and more beau\u00adti\u00adful build\u00adings and church\u00ades. Sad\u00adly we could\u00adn\u2019t fig\u00adure out where the muse\u00adum was so we had to cross that off the list. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We then want\u00aded to go to a cat cafe, which we found by coin\u00adci\u00addence on google maps. It was again anoth\u00ader 40 minute walk there, so we stopped at a super\u00admar\u00adket and got some\u00adthing to eat and drink. After a quick pause we con\u00adtin\u00adued and walked beside the riv\u00ader. The cafe had four cats in total and they were all play\u00ading around when we came in. We sat down and ordered a choco\u00adlate mousse and a cof\u00adfee which had a cat face print\u00aded on top and we spent around an hour in there just talk\u00ading and pet\u00adting the cats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We then arrived at the train sta\u00adtion at 4 pm after try\u00ading to find the entrance again for a good 5 min\u00adutes. Final\u00adly we got on the train and almost fell asleep after walk\u00ading through the entire city. Half an hour lat\u00ader we arrived back in Loimaa and went our sep\u00ada\u00adrate ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Turku was tru\u00adly beau\u00adti\u00adful, with lots of things to do and amaz\u00ading peo\u00adple. In case I\u2019ll ever be back in Fin\u00adland, I am def\u00adi\u00adnite\u00adly going to vis\u00adit Turku again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
